Bobby pins are an essential beauty tool for most women (at least those of us who enjoy voluminous ‘dos), but keeping them organized and easy to find when you need them can be a vexing task. If you need a cheap and simple solution that will keep your bobby pins right at your fingertips, look no further than your fridge. You know those promotional magnets that takeout places give out for free? Read on to see how to turn one into a DIY wall organizer for pins and small earrings.

You will need:

– Promotional magnet or other thin, flat magnet (if you don’t have a thin, flat magnet, you can always use magnetic paper and cut it to size)

– Mounting tape

STEP 1: Select a spot in your home where you want your bobby pin organizer to go. The inside of a bathroom cabinet door is a good choice, but you may also want to pick a wall near where you do you hair.

STEP 2: Cut your mounting tape and stick it to your magnet.

STEP 3: Carefully stick the magnet to the desired location.

Then start popping your bobby pins onto your new pin holder. Even though this is just a tiny improvement, it will hopefully rid your life of a little frustration so you can focus on what’s really important – your hair. Just kidding (sort of).
