STEP 2: In addition to adding a lace back to my tank top, I also wanted to change the shape a bit and update it to be more of a mullet shape (short in the front, long in the back). You can skip to step 5 if you don’t want to refashion the shape of your shirt.
To create the mullet shape, I traced a large arc from the middle of my tank top to one of the sides with a washable marker – I know it seems weird to only draw half the line but in the next step I’ll show you why I do it this way.Remember to leave space for a hem!
