Cabs are so 2000 and late. This year, why not ride to Fashion Week in style on a designer bicycle? Called Tour de Fashion, this clever initiative is giving alternative transportation-minded fashionistas the opportunity to borrow bikes designed by fashion powerhouses Diane von Furstenberg, Nanette Lepore, Prabal Gurung, Elie Tahari, Isaac Mizrahi, and more. The bikes were built in New York City by Bowery Bicycles, and are even transported to and from 14th st. and 9th ave. where they are stationed on another bike! In fact, we caught up with Sobi Social Bicycles founder Ryan Rzepecki just as he was about to ride them away!
